The Salvation Army at Reading Central is one of four Salvation Army centres in the Reading area. It is close to the centre of this historic town, the other two corps (churches) being in West Reading and to the east at Lower Earley. The fourth centre is Willow House, a hostel for the homeless.

Reading Central is a church with a great history and has evolved to maintain the essential traditions of earlier years yet to grasp the opportunities of today.
