Twenty five members of Reading's church community were commisioned as Street Pastors by The Bishop of Reading Rt Rev Stephen Cottrell at Greyfriars church in Reading.
Of these, six were salvationists and five are seen in the photo on the left with Divisional Leader Major Christine Bailey - back row: Capt. Iain Hudson (left), Ian Clack, Geoff Hawkins. front row: Julie Carpenter (Reading West), Major Christine Bailey and Jim Cassidy.
Stuart Scott was travelling oversees and was commisioned in absentia.
