Since its formation in 1996, the band had maintained a busy program of activities. Each year it presents several concerts at Salvation Army Centres and at churches within the Central Southern Area and has travelled as far as Eastbourne for an evening concert.

Two highlights of the band’s activities have been short tours in Guernsey and in Norway. The visit to Guernsey was in May 1998 and was hosted by the L’islet corps. The visit to Norway was in May 2001 and was hosted by the Askim corps band. The visit was timed to coincide with the Norwegian National Day celebrations on 17th May. In March 2009 the travelled to Kenya to support Salvationist in that country and to give concerts.
